Care & Preparation of the Person Who Has Passed
Within the boundaries of the funeral directors’ professional fee, funeral directors who are professional and competently trained will carefully prepare your loved one.

Our company makes the commitment that regardless of whether the families have requested to see the person or not, we will perform our duties in a gentle, professional, and ethical way by preparing and dressing the person in the clothing that has been provided by the family.

What is meant by “preparing the person”, is that we will place them in the coffin/casket and give them the appearance of resting, as though they are asleep.

On some occasions where the death of the person has been unnatural or traumatic, we will attempt to restore and repair any damage made to their usual appearance. This process can take a significant amount of time.

Careful consideration and discussion between you, as a family, and the funeral director must also take place to ensure that your expectation and understanding of the outcome is what can actually be done to restore and repair any injuries which may have been sustained.

Testimonials

Thank you so much for all you have done to assist me during what has been the most difficult time in my life. Your caring, sensitive and down to earth nature, has made a confusing and scary time less so, and I can’t thank you enough.

You put together such a beautiful service for my Dave which touched so many people, including me. If it is possible to love a funeral service, then I did – my heart was full. So many people have told me that Dave’s service was the best funeral service they have ever been to, and that could not have happened without your seamless organising and guidance.

Thank you for being so good at what you do, and guiding me through this.

After the sudden and unexpected death of my brother, I was completely at a loss, especially as it became the subject of a coroner’s review, which made it that much worse and caused confusion about when his body would be available. Anthony showed a very high level of compassion and did everything he could to make the process as easy as possible, guiding us through every step to arrange a send off that we felt Peter would have liked. I would highly recommend Anthony’s services.

I had to deal with the unexpected early death of my brother recently which totally flawed me. As I am only young myself, I had no clue how to deal with this. Anthony was so kind, empathetic and helpful. He went above and beyond to make sure my brother had a dignified send off. I decided I wanted to say goodbye, and he did a fantastic job of making my brother look so peaceful and as he did in life. Initially it was going to be myself, but last minute my family arrived from out west and he accomodate to us all. I rang around a few different funeral homes and found Anthony by far the best. Absolute pleasure to deal with and would recommend to anyone who has the unfortunate task of saying goodbye to their loved ones.
